Yuvraj tweeted and wrote, “So happy for Suryakumar Yadav. He played the same way he plays in the IPL. The place of this batsman in my World Cup team is certain. When Suryakumar Yadav was set in the fourth T20 match, he was caught by Sam Curran. There is also a lot of controversy about this catch. Suryakumar Yadav got a place in the team in place of injured Ishan Kishan. Ishaan Kishan hit a half century in his debut match.
Suryakumar Yadav said that he is ready to bat at any number. But he is happy that he got a chance to play in the top order. Yadav said in a virtual press conference that I think I have batted all the numbers in the last three to four years. Since opening, I have played at number seven and number eight. When anyone questions me about this, I say the same thing. I also told the team management that I can bat at any number. Suryakumar Yadav has also got a place in the ODI series against England.
