A few days ago Xiaomi announced that it was preparing to present its new family of high-end televisions. The launch has taken place today in China and we already know all the characteristics of the Mi TV Master Series OLED.
Xiaomi’s first Smart TV OLED has a very careful design. Its ultra-thin frames give all the prominence to the panel, with a screen / body ratio of 98.8%, and its transparent glass base gives it an elegant and sophisticated appearance.
It is equipped with a 65-inch OLED panel with 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels). It offers support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 +, reproduces 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, its contrast ratio is 1,000,000: 1 and its maximum brightness is 1,000 nits. And since it features a 120Hz refresh rate, an ultra-high 1ms response rate, and dynamic HDR, this is an interesting TV for playing video games.
The brain of the 65-inch Xiaomi Mi TV Smart Series OLED is the MediaTek MTK9659 processor, accompanied by the Mali-G52 MC1 GPU, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The operating system is MIUI for TV together with the Patchwall content aggregation service.
In the audio section we find a 65 W speaker system that provides 3D surround sound. It includes two 12.5W channels left and right, two 10W surround channels and a 20W subwoofer. It offers support for DTS Audio, Dolby Audio and Dolby Atmos 2.1.2. In addition, it also equips four microphones for the XiaoAI voice assistant.
As far as connectivity is concerned, it has dual band WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, AV input, antenna input and Ethernet.
