2021 PGA TOUR World Golf Championships-Workday Championship at The Concession Picks, Geoff Ulrich gets you set for the World Golf Championships-Workday Championship at The Concession with winning trends and his picks for your DraftKings fantasy golf lineups.

WGC-Workday Championship

Dustin Johnson enters the 2021 WGC-Workday Championship as one of the hottest golfers on the PGA Tour. The No. 1 ranked player in the world is coming off a strong showing last week at the Genesis Invitational, and he’s finished inside the top-10 in four of his last five starts. Johnson will have some stiff competition in the 2021 WGC-Workday Championship field with proven champions like Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau set to tee it up this week. The WGC-Workday Championship 2021 tees off on Thursday, Feb. 25, from The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla.

Johnson, a 24-time PGA Tour champion, is going off as the 13-2 favorite in the 2021 WGC-Workday Championship odds from William Hill Sportsbook. Other top contenders include Rahm (10-1), McIlroy (16-1) and Xander Schauffele (16-1). Before locking in your 2021 WGC-Workday Championship picks or entering any PGA DFS tournaments on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel, be sure to see the latest golf predictions and projected leaderboard from the advanced computer model at SportsLine.

SportsLine’s prediction model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been on fire since the return of the PGA Tour in June. In fact, it’s up over $11,100 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

Earlier this month at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, McClure nailed Daniel Berger’s win at +1400 in his best bets. McClure was also all over Viktor Hovland’s (+2500) victory at the Mayakoba Golf Classic in December.

After nailing Sergio Garcia (+5500) finishing on top of the leaderboard at the Sanderson Farms Championship, McClure finished up over $6,200 yet again on his best bets. The model had him in the top-five from the start and McClure’s best bets included Garcia winning outright. Those who followed that advice saw a massive +5500 return.

He also finished profitable at the U.S. Open, nailing two of his best bets, including a +1100 top-five bet on Matthew Wolff. McClure hit a top-five bet (+1200) on Doc Redman at the Wyndham Championship, finishing up over $700 on his best bets. Those are just some of his recent big hits.

In all, the advanced computer model has also nailed a whopping six majors entering the weekend. Anyone who has followed its golf picks has seen massive returns.

Now that the 2021 WGC-Workday Championship field is locked, SportsLine simulated the event 10,000 times, and the results were surprising. Head to SportsLine now to see the projected leaderboard.

The model’s top 2021 WGC-Workday Championship predictions

One huge shocker the model is calling for at the WGC-Workday Championship 2021: Justin Thomas, a 13-time PGA Tour winner and one of the top Vegas favorites, stumbles and doesn’t even crack the top five. Thomas was one of the hottest players on tour early this season, finishing T-12 or better in each of his first six starts.

However, Thomas missed the cut last week at the Genesis Invitational after shooting a 77 in the first round. The 27-year-old enters this week’s event ranked 117th in driving accuracy percentage (59.76), which doesn’t bode well for his chances to finish on top of the leaderboard at The Concession. He’s not a strong pick to win it all and there are far better values in the WGC-Workday Championship 2021 field.

Another surprise: Tony Finau, a 20-1 long shot, makes a strong run at the title. He has a much better chance to win it all than his odds imply, so he’s a target for anyone looking for a huge payday.

Finau enters this week’s event hitting the ball extremely well off the tee, averaging over 305 yards per drive this season. Finau’s ability to drive the ball deep into the fairway allows him to use his short irons to approach the green. That lethal combination has helped him hit 69.91 percent of greens in regulation this season, which has resulted in 168 birdies in just 36 rounds.

The 31-year-old ranks inside the top-10 in scoring average (69.580) and birdie average (4.67), which has helped him secure a top-five finish in three consecutive starts. Finau is one of the top value picks that should be all over your radar this week in your 2021 WGC-Workday Championship bets.

How to make 2021 WGC-Workday Championship picks

Also, the model is targeting three other golfers with odds of 20-1 or higher to make a strong run at the title. Anyone who backs these underdogs could hit it big. You can only see them here.

Memphis visits Washington after Beal’s 46-point game

Washington Wizards (13-19, 12th in the Eastern Conference) vs. Memphis Grizzlies (15-15, 10th in the Western Conference)

Washington; Tuesday, 7 p.m. EST

BOTTOM LINE: Washington takes on the Memphis Grizzlies after Bradley Beal scored 46 points in the Wizards’ 111-110 loss to the Celtics.

The Wizards are 6-9 on their home court. Washington is 2-13 when outrebounded by opponents and averages 44.7 rebounds per game.

The Grizzlies are 8-5 in road games. Memphis ranks second in the league with 27.2 assists per game led by Ja Morant averaging 7.7.

The matchup Tuesday is the first meeting this season between the two teams.

TOP PERFORMERS: Beal is averaging 33.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists for the Wizards. Davis Bertans is averaging 3.4 made 3-pointers and 12.9 points over the last 10 games for Washington.

Morant leads the Grizzlies averaging 18.4 points and is adding 3.1 rebounds. Jonas Valanciunas is averaging 16.1 points and 11.1 rebounds while shooting 55.5% over the last 10 games for Memphis.

LAST 10 GAMES: Wizards: 7-3, averaging 116.7 points, 46.6 rebounds, 24.7 assists, 8.2 steals and 3.4 blocks per game while shooting 47.2% from the field. Their opponents have averaged 115 points on 45.4% shooting.

Grizzlies: 5-5, averaging 111.6 points, 44.2 rebounds, 25 assists, 10 steals and 2.5 blocks per game while shooting 47.3% from the field. Their opponents have averaged 110.4 points on 46.9% shooting.

INJURIES:

Wizards: Ish Smith: out (quad), Thomas Bryant: out for season (left knee).

Grizzlies: Jaren Jackson Jr.: out (knee), Grayson Allen: out (concussion protocol).

Pregame notes

Bounce back? — The Wizards were that close to 8 wins in 9 games. But Jayson Tatum decided otherwise. With 8 points in the last 2 minutes he single-handedly changed the outcome of Sunday’s game. The Grizzlies are the perfect opportunity to bounce back at home from that loss before a very tough stretch that includes the Clippers, the Grizzlies again, the 76ers, and the Bucks (twice). The Wizards want to arrive to the trade deadline (March 25) as close as possible to .500 and that will be tough. Today is a thus a must-win if they want to keep Beal happy and here.

The Wizards can play D — It was encouraging to see how the Wizards can play D with the right personnel and energy. Let’s see if they can keep it against Memphis.

Flashback: What did Jayson Tatum just do?

This just happened yesterday, but it’s shocking what Jayson Tatum did. Worth a flashback already!

All NBA game live stream 2020/21: how to watch Washington Wizards vs Memphis Grizzlies online

In order to watch the NBA on TV in the US, you’ll need either cable TV – or access to a good streaming service.

The biggest, nationally televised games are aired across a number of channels: ESPN, ABC, TNT and NBA TV. Regional sports networks (RSNs) also get a significant slice of the regular season action, and are important to have access to if you’re a fan of a particular team.

The cheapest way to watch Wizards vs Grizzlies live stream

If you only want to watch the biggest games and are less concerned about RSN coverage, you can watch the NBA online for less with great value OTT streaming service Sling TV.

Its Orange package costs just $30 a month and gets you ESPN and TNT, while a $10 p/m Sports Extra add-on nets you NBA TV. This combo will give you an NBA live stream for many nationally televised games, with ABC the only channel not on offer.

Unlike cable, cancel your subscription at any time – but its RSN offering is slightly limited, however.

More ways to watch NBA basketball online

Another quality option is fuboTV, which offers ESPN, TNT and NBA TV along with national channels like ABC, CBS and NBC in most major markets. Packages start from $59.99 a month for the cable replacement service and there’s a FREE 2-week fuboTV trial you can try to see if it’s right for you.

It also features regional sports networks (RSNs) for local coverage in many areas, including NBC’s affiliates in Philadelphia, Washington and Chicago, plus MSG and SportsNet NY for the New York market and NESN in the Greater Boston area

However, other RSNs including most SportsNet affiliates (including Spectrum SportsNet LA) and New York’s YES Network can now only be found on the AT&T TV Now service.

How to watch the NBA: Wizards vs Grizzlies live stream in the UK

UK basketball fans can watch the NBA and live stream this season’s biggest games (as well as those of the WNBA) on Sky Sports – available on Sky of course, as well as with BT and Virgin Media, TV packages.

Not interested in the commitment or cost of a full-fat Sky Sports subscription, but still want to watch the NBA live in the UK? There’s also the option of a streaming-only Now TV Sky Sports Pass.

Your final option is the NBA League Pass, which is available in the UK and will get you every single game of the 2020/21 season from just £3.99 a month for your pick of any three NBA games to watch; £14.99 p/m for full coverage of a single team; or £24.99 a month to get a UK NBA live stream of every single game around.

Should you sign up to that or any other UK sports streaming service, you may well want to watch your subscription from abroad – and as detailed above, all you need is a good VPN on your bench.

How to watch NBA online: live stream every 2021 game in Canada

If you’re a Canadian basketball fan, then you probably (but not necessarily) want to know how to watch the Raptors.

SportsNet and TSN share NBA coverage in Canada, including Raptors games. Both are widely available on cable but also offer streaming-only services – TSN Direct (from CAD$19.99 a month) and SN Now (from $9.99 a month).

For fans of teams that aren’t the Raptors or just love watching basketball in general, Canada’s NBA League Pass offering is the way to go. While Raptors games are subject to blackout, no other teams are affected, making it a great choice.

Plus, Canadian hoops fans travelling abroad can always use a VPN to get the same NBA coverage they’d normally watch (and pay for) back home.

NBA live stream 2020/21: how to watch basketball online in Australia

If you plan on watching the NBA on TV this season in Australia, then you’ll need a cable package that gives you access to ESPN, as the network owns the country’s NBA broadcast rights. You can get a Foxtel subscription with the sports package included that will allow you to watch all the season’s biggest televised games on ESPN, while free-to-air broadcaster SBS may also be showing select matchups for free on certain weekends.

Don’t want to sign up for Foxtel just to watch the NBA this season? Then great value over-the-top service Kayo Sports has you covered as it will allow you to stream all of ESPN’s NBA coverage for way less than a pay TV package. It costs between $25 and $35 a month, depending on which option, you choose but new customers will be able to test it out for themselves thanks to the service’s 14-day FREE TRIAL.

NBA League Pass is also available in Australia and is a great option for true NBA fanatics who want to watch every game of their favourite team and other action from around the league that might not always be on ESPN’s broadcast schedule.

Going abroad? Remember to consider packing a quality VPN, which will let you access all the same streaming services, NBA games and general sports action you’d normally watch Down Under.

NBA League Pass: the best way to live stream the NBA online?

As you can see, there are a number of options for streaming the NBA online. But one that keeps cropping up is NBA League Pass, the league’s official streaming service.

In the US, a yearly NBA League Pass subscription starts at $199 for coverage of every out-of-market game. But that’s an important caveat. While this represents a solid deal for fans of teams living outside their local area, fans residing in-market will find most games subject to black out restrictions – and it’s not really a viable option as a result.

The service offers a different packages for international markets, but as an example, in the UK, you can pay as little as £14.99 a month for an NBA live stream of all of your team’s game this season.

As well as the UK, NBA League Pass covers pretty much every major international market with end-to-end hoops action apart from the US and Canada – so whether you’re in Europe, South America, Asia, Oceania or anywhere else, it’s well worth looking at.

As ever, if you’re out of the country you subscribed to NBA League Pass in, it’s likely you can use a VPN to get around these restrictions. Just follow our instructions above.

India vs England: Virat Kohli will equal this record of Dhoni in fourth Test match

Published

on

Virat Kohli is set to match MS Dhoni’s record as the captain of the Indian team in the Test, when India take on England in the fourth Test in Ahmedabad. This match will be Kohli’s 60th Test as captain, and after that he will be on par with Dhoni.

The right-handed batsman is 17 runs away from scoring 12,000 international runs as captain. So far, this achievement has been achieved only by Ricky Ponting of Australia and Graeme Smith of South Africa. Ponting scored 15,440 as Australia’s captain, while Graeme Smith led South Africa with 14,878 runs.

Kohli is one century away from Ricky Ponting for most runs as international captain. If he scores a century at the Narendra Modi Stadium, it will be his 42nd century, leading India.

He can match Clive Lloyd’s record of 36 Test wins. If he leads India to victory in the fourth Test, he will be ranked fourth in the list of Test captains with the most wins.

India lead the series 2–1 in the final. If the Indian team survives the loss in the fourth match, India will qualify for the final of the inaugural World Test Championship.
