GCA vice-president Dhanraj Nathwani has said that his money will be returned to the spectators buying tickets for the matches to be held on March 16, 18 and 20. He further said that this decision has been taken in view of the increasing cases of corona in Ahmedabad. This decision has been taken only after consulting Nathwani BCCI. Significantly, in the first two matches of the T20 series, 50 percent of the spectators were allowed to come to the stadium. According to the report, in the second T20 played on February 14, nearly 60 thousand people had come to watch the stadium match. At the same time, about 50 thousand people came to the stadium in T20.

The four-match Test series was played between India and England before the T20 series. The first two matches of this series were played in Chennai and the last two matches were held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In the first match of the Test series, spectators were not allowed to come to the stadium, but in the remaining three Tests, 50 percent of the spectators were allowed to enter the stadium. Please tell that due to the increasing cases of Corona in Maharashtra, the ODI series will also be played in the empty stadium itself. The state government took this decision due to the outbreak of Corona in Maharashtra. It is worth noting that the first match of the ODI series will be played on 23 March, the second match on 26 March and the third and final match will be played on 28 March. All these matches will be day-night. All the matches of the ODI series will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium Pune, as per the schedule.
