Tesla is preparing to open four new service centers (known as Service Centers by brand enthusiasts) in Spain before the end of 2020. They will be located in Madrid , Valencia , Bilbao and Malaga , according to confirmations from three different sources nearby. or in the company.
The first, located in Valencia , was made public days ago and will be at Maestre Rodrigo 107 Street . It is an establishment where before there was a dealer for other car brands.
In the case of Madrid, they already have two centers of this type, one temporary in Getafe and a second north, in Sanchinarro . The new and definitive will be located in the Fuenlabrada area , as we anticipated days ago. The delivery of vehicles in the capital will be transferred to this headquarters.
Tesla will also open two additional service centers in two cities where the presence of the brand is very necessary to encourage the sale of its vehicles: Bilbao and Malaga . According to our sources, they will be opened before the end of 2020, although the date could change for different reasons or changes in the company’s plans.
In this way, the company’s clients who live in the north, south and east of the country will not have to travel to Madrid or Barcelona to receive service or repairs to their vehicles.
The electric vehicle manufacturer has offered a mobile service – known as Ranger – in which it moves its mechanics to different cities for simple repairs and services that do not require a complete workshop, but in many cases it is not enough and it was necessary to take the vehicle to Madrid or Barcelona.
Six service centers in Spain in 2020
Thus, at the end 2020, Tesla Spain would have a total of six service centers in the peninsula :
- Madrid Sanchinarro
- Madrid Fuenlabrada
In addition to the slow but continuous expansion of the supercharging network , it seems that Tesla pays more and more attention to Spain as a viable country for electric mobility.
