The BCCI announced the Indian team for the ODI series against England on Friday. Suryakumar Yadav has got a chance in the Indian team for this three-match ODI series. Apart from Mumbai-based batsman Suryakumar, all-rounder Krunal Pandya and the famous Krishna were included in the ODI team for the first time. India will play all three matches of the ODI series between England at the MCA Stadium in Pune. The first match of the series is to be played on 23 March, after which the remaining two ODIs on 26 and 28 March will also be played in Pune.
At the same time, Suryakumar Yadav, who scored a brilliant half-century in his first T20 International innings, has also received a reward. Suryakumar played a brilliant innings of 57 against England in the fourth T20. Shubman Gill, who struggled with poor form in the Test series, has also been retained in the team. Pesar Mohammad Siraj has received the gift of consistently good performance in Tests. He played his only ODI against Australia in Adelaide in January 2019. Lokesh Rahul, who has been struggling with poor form in the T20 series, has been placed in the ODI team. Rishabh Pant also managed to return to the ODI team after T20. Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has also been included in the team. Virat Kohli will take charge of the team, while vice-captain Rohit Sharma will remain.
