Kylie Minogue Reveals Why She Cried the First Time She Heard Her Song ’Say Something'

MiSinger Kylie Minogue says she cried when she heard her latest song, Say Something, for the first time. The 52-year-old singer felt an instant connection to the track, her first single from new album DiscoKylie Minogue Birthday Trivia: Did You Know How Much the International Pop Singer Was Paid to ‘Chiggy Wiggy’ With Akshay Kumar in Blue?

“I cried when I heard it earlier this year. I remember listening to it and just being very teary and calling my producer going, ‘this song is just…’ It’s saying more than we’re saying. Like, there’s a lot of room for interpretation in that song. It’s about love and everyone having the capacity for love. It’s not as easy to describe as, ‘OK, everyone’s on the dance floor, there’s a full moon and we’re all dancing’,” she said in an interview to Heat magazine, reports contactmusic.com.

The singer feels people will connect to the song’s universal theme. Kylie Minogue’s New Makeup Brand Named KYLIE to Spite Her Jenner Namesake?

She said: “For me it’s about the eternal quest for love and not necessarily a relationship love. Just love for love’s sake. We are all different, but that is pretty much a common desire or need and longing. And it is endless.”

“I was so glad the landscape for the video was galactic because that’s how I feel about love — where does it begin? Where does it end? Your family love, your romantic love, your love for life,” she added.

In the music video, the singer is seen riding a horse. She revealed that it was a last-minute change. Talking about it, she said: “That was kind of – not a happy mistake – but it was meant to be a different horse.

“And then two days before we filmed the video, my director calls and says, ‘There’s a problem with the horse. It needs six people to move it and we don’t have six people. So, the day before the video, the horse was changed.

“But it was always meant to be that horse because he is resplendent in that video. I love him,” she shared.

20 Years of Priyanka Chopra Winning Miss World: From Crowing Moment to Her Mother Worrying About Her Studies, Watch Videos of Her Journey

This day in the year 2000, Priyanka Chopra brought home the Miss World crown. 20 years on and she is the reigning queen of the film industry – not just Bollywood but Hollywood as well. And to think of it, her mother, Madhu Chopra, had almost sent her pictures to Miss India pageant merely as a joke. Well, from giving a wrong answer to a wardrobe malfunction, Priyanka had to brave through it all to win the crown. All well’s that ends well, but Priyanka’s story is still unfinished. She will be talking more about her journey to and after winning Miss World in her upcoming memoir, Unfinished, which has already broken pre-sales record to become the number one seller in the US. Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Memoir, Unfinished Becomes the Best Seller in the US in Less Than 12 Hours.

If you think that pageants are superficial celebrations of beauty, then Priyanka is here to prove you wrong. “I do think pageants are subject to a lot of stereotyping, and some of them deserve it too, but my experience with Miss World wasn’t like that,” she said in an interview with ELLE UK. “It was focused on being a woman of substance — how well you’d be able to solve world issues, what kind of orator you are etc.” Priyanka Chopra Jonas Celebrates 20 Years Of Her Crowning Moment At Miss World 2000; Madhu Chopra Recalls Her Daughter’s Big Win (Watch Video).

Of course, Priyanka’s mother was happy and so was the entire nation. But, a mother is a mother after all. In a video, Madhu revealed recently, “When I hugged her I spoke the stupidest thing that should have been…Instead of telling her that I’m so glad, so happy that you’re Miss World, I said, ‘Babe, now what will happen to your studies?”

Well, Priyanka’s success today makes mothers across the nation dream bigger for their daughters.

‘Netflix’s The Crown Should Be Called A Work Of Fiction’, Demands UK Cultural Secretary Oliver Dowden

'Netflix's The Crown Should Be Called A Work Of Fiction', Demands UK Cultural Secretary Oliver Dowden

Netflix’s The Crown has managed to captivate audiences across the world. The new season has been especially gratifying to many as it talked about Princess Diana and her tumultuous marriage with Prince Charles. Quite obviously, the depiction of the royal family in this series did ruffle a few feathers. The latest addition to that is UK Cultural Secretary Oliver Dowden’s demand that the streamer issues a disclaimer at the start about the series being ‘a work of fiction.’ The Crown Season 4 Review: Emma Corrin’s Diana And Gillian Anderson’s Margaret Thatcher Deserve Applause But It’s Josh O’Connor’s Prince Charles That Keeps It Humane (Onhike Exclusive)

Speaking to Daily Mail, Dowden said, “It’s a beautifully produced work of fiction, so as with other TV productions, Netflix should be very clear at the beginning it is just that.” He believes that it could give a damaging view of the family to the generation who was not present when the events took place.  He feels a whole generation may mistake fiction for facts. Dowden also reveals that he would be writing a letter to Netflix on the same.

Earl Spencer, late Lady Diana’s brother, also voiced similar concerns when he told ITV, “It would help The Crown an enormous amount if at the beginning of each episode it stated that, ‘This isn’t true but is based around some real events’. Because then everyone would understand it’s a drama for drama’s sake.”

All this happened after The Crown season 4 led to a lot of abuse instances. There are reports that Camilla Parker-Bowles, Prince Charles’ second wife, has received a lot of abusive messages and so did some of the other members of the royal family.
