We are having a fairly full summer of announcements despite being a rather peculiar year, and as the warmer months pass the environment smells stronger and stronger to Samsung news. In fact, with such a number of rumors and leaks we can already gather everything we think we know about the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Watch 3 .

These are the expected protagonists of the next Samsung event, although there is talk of a third guest of honor. Quote? Confirmed , since on August 5 there will be Unpacked (of course, virtual) and they will reveal all the news.

The module of the S20 and the arrival of pink bronze at the back of the Galaxy Note

Aesthetics is one of the aspects that play the most in the field of leaks, with people dedicated to recreating what devices could be from tracks or sometimes with photographs or renders supposedly leaked. Speaking of this, according to what has been seen the new Note 20 would be a hybrid between what we saw last year in the Note 10 and what we saw this with the Galaxy S20 , also talking about three Galaxy Note 20 : the standard, the Note 20+ and Note 20 Ultra.

To (not) vary, OnLeaks has provided a good amount of leaks also from the Galaxy Note 20. Specifically, a few months ago we saw some CAD designs that revealed the alleged designs of the Note 20 and Note 20+ .

Dimensions have even been noted. Speaking of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, it is expected to measure 161.8 x 75.3 x 8.5 millimeters, which would leave it with a somewhat higher volume than both Galaxy Note 10 being above all higher . Enough to fit a 6.7-inch screen, the same as we saw in the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite , in fact we do not see that there is any curvature in the panel in these renders either.

For the Galaxy Note 20+ it is aimed at a 6.9-inch screen, with which for a tenth of an inch it would break a record in the Note. It is aimed at measures of 165 x 77.2 x 7.6 millimeters, which would make it even thinner than the Note 20 (perhaps due to the curvature) and a little more compact than the Note 10+.

What we see that changes in all, according to these images, is that the camera module becomes more rectangular , leaving aside the design that it presented in the previous Note 10 (except the Lite) and taking shapes that are more reminiscent of the S20.

It also seems to have changed the location of the side buttons, going to the right, as well as the S Pen , as if the distribution between these elements had been inverted. And what also reached the leaks of the leaks is a pink bronze color for at least the Note 20, which in fact seems to coincide with that of the splash that illustrates the official image of the Unpacked.

Speculating on a change in display technology

Speaking of the screens, what has also been pointed out is the arrival of the LTPO (Low Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) screens , which could stand out especially for being able to take advantage of high refresh rates without the energy consumption going off. Rates like the 120 Hz expected for these phones, inheriting this feature from the S20.

Although of course, according to that information (which came from Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Consultants), Samsung itself had “confirmed” that the Galaxy Note 20+ will support 120 Hz on its screen , but the base model of this terminal, the Galaxy Note 20, will maintain an LPTS (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon) screen at 60 Hz. That is, it would not be exactly like the S20 because in that case the base model (the Samsung Galaxy S20 ) does cool down to 120 Hz.

This refresh rate would be adaptive at least on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, according to the latest Ice Universe leak . A curved panel is expected for this mobile, specifically a 6.87-inch AMOLED screen with QHD + resolution according to the four alleged photos that were leaked . And they would all go with the front camera inserted in the panel, as in the previous Galaxy S and Note.

Processor to the last or even new

In April there was talk of the arrival of a new Exynos 992 processor , the first 6 nanometer. But later it was said that at least the Note 20 Ultra would incorporate Qualcomm’s recently introduced Snapdragon 865+ , although it would not be unusual to see two versions according to markets.

For the top of the Note 20, 12 GB of RAM and a 4,500 mAh battery have been targeted . But about this, not much more has been leaked, nor from the other models.

Speaking of photography , the expected as filtered by Ice Universe is that there is a triple rear camera for both the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 base and the Samsung Galaxy Note 20+. For the second, the following combination is pointed out:

  • 108-megapixel ISOCELL Bright HM1 main sensor . 1 / 1.33 inch size.
  • Telephoto camera with periscope objective. 13 megapixels for image size, 1 / 3.4-inch dimensions and Samsung ISOCELL Slim 3M5 sensor .
  • 13 megapixel ultra wide-angle camera, 1 / 2.55-inch Samsung ISOCELL Fast 2L3 sensor .

In addition to the three cameras, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ would have laser focus, would come without a ToF sensor and would have a maximum zoom of 50x (hybrid).

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3

What would be the heir to the Samsung Galaxy Watch has almost leaked to his ID. With all the aforementioned, we were able to assemble what would be the data sheet of the two sizes (41 and 45 millimeters), with a classic design, rotating bezel and OLED screen (1.2 or 1.4 inches) with Gorilla Glass DX.

We saw that it would also have the IP68 and MIL-STD-810G resistance certifications and that it will already come with the function of performing factory electrocardiograms. In principle it would also improve the interiors with more memory and a bigger battery than its predecessors.

A new folding

The least talked about (but talked about) is what would be the direct successor to the Samsung Galaxy Fold , the company’s first folding device. They noted in Bloomberg that this would be the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold that would maintain the form factor of the first fold (and not the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip ) but with a much larger external screen than the one we saw in the first Fold (and that we did not just fit in, by the way).

This new folding device would integrate a 7.7-inch, 120 Hz, Infinity Flex main screen that would double and that would integrate the front camera under the screen (instead of the notorious notch of the first Fold). A technology that we saw at OPPO and Xiaomi and that apparently also would have been developing Samsung since at least last year .

Unlike the Z Flip, it would carry the Snapdragon 865 . It would maintain the S20 + rear camera configuration and would have a 10 megapixel sensor for each of the front cameras (such as the S20 and S20 +). It remains to finally be a reality, because they talked about a launch in July that has not yet happened.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Live TWS

After a video that Samsung has recently published and a leak from another regular , Evan Blass , we almost assume that this Unpacked will also be the company’s new completely wireless headphones. Also with that color that seems representative of this batch of devices, according to what is filtered is that they would be in three colors and that they would have a design in the shape of a bean .

According to this information, the Galaxy Buds Live TWS would follow in the wake of the many other models of this type of headphones that have come to the market in recent years: a pair of small, independent headphones with a transport box that is instead it serves as a charging system for them.

They are expected to be approximately 2.8 centimeters long and have active noise cancellation . Also that they incorporate compatibility with Bluetooth 5.1 and perhaps some software that helps improve the gaming experience.

There is less left for the appointment

As we said at the beginning, Samsung publicly announced that the Unpacked will be held on August 5 . From Xataka we will cover everything live to tell you everything in maximum detail as it is announced, so in about two weeks we will wait for you to check if all this is confirmed.

It goes without saying that there are more and more wireless headphones for sale, especially the so-called True Wireless, that is, without cables of any kind. As there are so many, it is sometimes difficult to choose, especially if you are looking for ones that are above all cheap.

However, there are certain models that have a good price and are completely trustworthy, such as the Umi. by Amazon W5s that, as its name suggests, are endorsed by Amazon and cost only 28 euros at the moment.

They are available in four different colors and have another promotion, for which you can take four units paying only three , in case you want to share a purchase with family or friends.

In addition, the wireless standard used is Bluetooth 5.0, which not only improves the connection speed and latency, but also makes the link much more stable, and all this with less energy consumption.

They come with their included charging case, where you can recharge them multiple times without having to go through a plug. Adding the different battery cycles can reach about 30 hours of battery life .

They are IPX7 certified water resistant, so you can exercise with them without fear, even if it’s raining heavily.

One of the few drawbacks is that when it does not come close to € 29, shipping is only free if you include two units in your order or if you have Amazon Prime, in which case the store will assume all shipping costs to the address that indicate.

The best option to save costs is to sign up for the Amazon Prime free trial month , since without having a commitment to stay you can cancel at the time you want and without penalty for the first 30 days.

The Indian government reportedly banned the browser offered on Xiaomi’s smartphones furthering extending it’s a rage against the Chinese companies operating in the country. According to the report from TOI, the government took action against Xiaomi’s browser called – Mi Browser Pro – Video Download, Free Fast & Secure. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has retailed more than 10 crore smartphones in India. And, presently it is the leading mobile brand in the country.

The company highlighted that it follows the local data protection regulations and other guidelines specified by the Indian government. Musk hints that there will be a smaller Cybertruck for Europe

Two things cannot be denied. The first is that everything around the Tesla Cybertruck is of great interest to many people across the planet. Whether with adoration or dread, this vehicle is expected to change the road landscape and there is great curiosity to definitely see it on the market. The other issue is that Elon Musk’s Twitter account is an inexhaustible source of news .

There were many details that drew attention when the Cybertruck was discovered. But beyond its angles or the interior, the large size was something especially commented. As pointed out in Autobild , the measurements are 5,881 mm in length, 2,027 mm in width and 1,905 mm in height . Perhaps a size they are more used to in the United States, where trucks are common, but not in Europe.

In any case, yesterday they asked Musk about the possibility of a smaller version for Europe, and their answer was that it is very likely to be seen in the future .

Highly likely down the road – Elon Musk (@elonmusk) August 4, 2020

In the same conversation, someone also commented on the need to reduce the width of the vehicle to be able to move or work in the city , to which Musk answered True .

As they point out in Electrek , this comment comes months after Musk met with his chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen, and scrapped the idea of reducing the size of the van by 3% . These swings are an indication that there is a discussion regarding the size of the vehicle.

Despite the great impact that this van has and the large number of reservations that are taking place in the United States, there are many doubts about its launch . A few weeks ago we told you about the changes that they will be forced to make in their design to adapt to US legislation, but surely in Europe they will find more obstacles to obtaining circulation permits.

In any case, we must not forget that Musk knows the promotion he achieves through his tweets and that he sometimes likes to remove the networks to achieve repercussion. But it’s true that with the Tesla Cybertruck there is still a lot to discuss before it goes into production .
