Realme 6i smartphone will be made available for its first sale today at 12 pm IST via Flipkart. Apart from Realme 6i, the Realme Narzo 10A and Realme C11 smartphones will also go on sale today at noon via Flipkart and Realme.com. As a reminder, the Realme 6i smartphone was launched in the country last week, which is essentially a rebranded model of Realme 6s that is already on sale in Europe. The phone is launched in India with a starting price of Rs 12,999 for the 4GB variant. However, the 6GB model costs Rs 14,999. Both Flipkart and Realme have some attractive offers on the recently launched Realme 6i smartphone. The buyers can avail an instant discount of 4 percent via Flipkart on SBI credit card & EMI transaction. The e-retailer is also offering flat Rs 30 discount on the first prepaid transaction using a RuPay debit card. Similarly, Realme also offers up to 100 percent SuperCash worth Rs. 500 to MobiKwik users.

The Realme 6i smartphone gets a 6.5-inch FHD+ screen with a resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels and 90Hz refresh rate. It also offers a screen to body ratio of 90.5 percent. The phone comes powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor that is clubbed with up to 6GB of RAM. It also comes with an internal storage of 64GB. It can be expanded up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

Coming to the camera department, the phone packs a quad rear camera module. It consists of a 48MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens. It also gets an 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.3 ultra-wide-angle lens. The other two cameras are 2MP sensor with f/2.4 portrait lens and a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. At the front, there is a 16MP sensor positioned in the hole-punch cut out for video calls and selfies.

The phone is backed by a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. However, the charger offered with the phone only supports 20W charging. It on Android 10 with Realme UI on top.

Oppo, the Chinese , officially launched the Oppo A54 smartphone in India. The handset will be made available for sale from tomorrow at 12 noon via Flipkart. Sale offers include up to Rs 1,000 off on HDFC Bank cards and credit card EMI, no-cost EMI, standard EMI options, 5 percent unlimited cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank and up to Rs 12,650 off via exchange . Oppo A54 is priced at Rs 13,490 for the 4GB + 64GB model whereas the 4GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 14,490. It features a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels. The handset comes powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. For optics, the phone sports a triple rear camera module with a 13MP main lens, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP bokeh lens. At the front, there is a 16MP selfie snapper.

Oppo A54 comes fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, 4G and Wi-Fi. The device runs on an Android 10 based ColorOS 7.2 system.

Nokia Signs Agreement With LG Uplus To Tap South Korea’s 5G Equipment Market: Report




Seoul, April 19: Nokia, a Finnish telecom equipment giant, said on Monday it has signed an agreement with South Korean mobile carrier LG Uplus to install its next-generation indoor 5G equipment the country. Nokia said it will deploy its small cell AirScale Indoor systems in indoor locations across the country, including shopping malls and office buildings, for LG Uplus’ 5G network. Nokia G10, Nokia G20, Nokia C10, Nokia C20, Nokia X10 & Nokia X20 Phones Launched.



The system allows seamless 5G connectivity between indoor and outdoor locations and can be easily upgraded to accommodate future network expansion, according to Nokia. South Korean telecom operators have recently focused on expanding 5G coverage in indoor locations amid complaints of lack of network availability, reports Yonhap news agency.

A government report late last year found that 5G was available in 61.8 percent of the total 4,516 major public buildings across the country’s 85 cities. LG Uplus uses 5G equipment from Nokia, Samsung Co., China’s Huawei Technologies Co. and Sweden’s Ericsson.

WhatsApp users in India have reported that they are receiving a link on WhatsApp claiming to turn the app’s theme from Green to Pink. The link also reportedly claims to new features to the users. This new link has been spreading like fire on WhatsApp and you must stay safe from it because it is malware. It is important to note that no link can change WhatsApp’s logo or theme to Pink by just clicking on it. If there would be a change in the logo or theme, then the Facebook-owned company will officially announce the same. This malware link has been reportedly introduced to trick WhatsApp users and steal access to their accounts. Cybersecurity members have also reportedly suggested that clicking on any suspicious WhatsApp Pink installation link received on WhatsApp will hack users’ phone and hackers can get access to their WhatsApp accounts.

Cybersecurity expert ‘Rajshekhar Rajaharia’ also made users aware of this malware link by sharing it on social media. Here’s how you can stay safe from this WhatsApp’s Pink installation link malware.

1. Identify the link, check the keywords, spelling errors and grammatical mistakes in the URL.

2. Avoid clicking on links that promise gifts and unofficial changes to the app.

3. Do not share a suspicious link to other WhatsApp groups, family or friends

4. Check the official website of WhatsApp and look if there is any feature announced by the company that changes its logo from Green to Pink.
