AFC Preview:Buffalo Bills (13-3) vs Kansas City Chiefs ( 14-2)

The Bills have enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they must head out on the road. Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium at 6:40 p.m. ET, they and the Kansas City Chiefs will grapple for the AFC championship and a ticket to the Super Bowl. The Bills will be seeking to avenge the 26-17 loss they suffered the last time these two teams played Oct. 19 of last year.

Bills earned some more postseason success in their contest last week. They were able to grind out a solid victory over the Baltimore Ravens, winning 17-3. The score was all tied up at the break 3-3, but Buffalo was the better team in the second half. Their WR Stefon Diggs filled up the stat sheet, catching eight passes for one TD and 106 yards.

In the meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns typically have all the answers at home, but last week Kansas City proved too difficult a challenge. Kansas City managed a 22-17 win over Cleveland. The team accrued 19 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win. It was another big night for the Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes, who passed for one TD and 255 yards on 30 attempts in addition to punching in one rushing touchdown. Mahomes ended up with a passer rating of 152.40.

Even if you have subscribed to the relevant NFL rights holders, you won’t be able to access them when outside your own country. The service will know your location based on your IP address, and will automatically block your access.

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) helps you get around this obstacle. VPNs are a doddle to use and create a private connection between your device and the internet. All the information passing back and forth is entirely encrypted.

We recommend paid-for VPN services, such as ExpressVPN or NordVPN, because they are entirely safe, come with 24/7 customer support and can be used to watch sport and other entertainment from any part of the world on almost any device. Try it out with the link below and get three months free.

NFL blackouts: International Game Pass vs. U.S. Game Pass

What’s the difference between watching NFL Game Pass in Germany, Australia, Canada, or the U.S.? NFL Game Pass is available both inside and outside the States. However, there are key differences every fan needs to know:

The U.S. NFL Game Pass does not offer live streaming of regular-season or postseason games. It provides streams of out-of-market preseason games, on-demand replays of every regular-season game, and the NFL Films archive. There are no blackouts of regular-season games (because none are shown live at all). A seven-day free trial is available.

In most other markets, such as Mexico and most EU countries, the international NFL Game Pass offers all 256 regular-season games plus the NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl. Users trying to watch the NFL in the UK or Ireland are subject to blackouts on some games, and for viewers who want to stream the NFL in Canada, Game Pass is available exclusively through DAZN.

Most international Game Pass subscribers get access to NFL RedZone, the NFL Network, and all NFL Films programming. There’s a seven-day free trial available.

Is NFL Game Pass UK the same as the international Game Pass?

In a word, no. Regional broadcasting rights in the UK and the Republic of Ireland mean certain games are subject to blackout restrictions.

This applies even if a subscriber from the UK or Ireland is in another part of the EU. Existing EU Portability Regulations require UK and Ireland blackout restrictions to apply no matter where in the EU the subscriber is.

Can I watch NFL Game Pass in Europe?

EU viewers who subscribe to NFL Game Pass from most locations other than the UK or Ireland should have access to all games live, although limited blackouts may apply if such users try to watch from the UK or Ireland.
Where is the cheapest location to get NFL international Game Pass?

NFL international Game Pass prices vary from region to region, but South American locations tend to offer the lowest prices. For information about specific countries, contact ExpressVPN Support.

Subscription refunds are valid up to seven days from the purchase date. Free trial refunds are valid up to three days after the trial ends. More details can be found on the NFL Digital Care site.
Which devices can I watch International NFL Game Pass on?

NFL Game Pass works on the following devices. To set up ExpressVPN on your device, follow the corresponding link below:

iOS 10+
Android 6.0+
Apple TV
Amazon Fire TV
Android TV
Roku
Xbox
PS4

What’s the difference between NFL Game Pass and NFL Sunday Ticket?

NFL Game Pass is the NFL’s streaming service. It is different from NFL Sunday Ticket, which is exclusive to AT&T TV Now.

NFL Game Pass comes in two flavors. The domestic Game Pass only shows out-of-market preseason games, regular-season game replays, and the full range of NFL Films. The international Game Pass shows every live regular season and playoff game, including the Super Bowl. Read more about the nuances of NFL Game Pass.

NFL Sunday Ticket is only available to U.S. with a valid service address. Sunday Ticket shows out-of-market games only and excludes select international games. In particular, games broadcast by your local Fox or CBS affiliate will not be available for streaming.

NFL Sunday Ticket starts at 73.50 USD/month for four months. If you live in the U.S. and don’t mind a portion of the games, NFL Sunday Ticket might be worth considering. The international version of NFL Game Pass costs at least 125 USD/season but gives you access to every game and a wide range of extras.

NFC Championship

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Green Bay Packers [Jan 24, 3:00 p.m. ET]

Watch Live Stream Online

Channel: Fox

The Buccaneers are the only underdog to make it to the NFL’s final four, but it’s hard to consider them much of a longshot when they’re loaded with talent and led by legendary quarterback Tom Brady. In their upset win over the New Orleans Saints they proved they could win with their defense, but that will be harder to do against probable MVP Aaron Rodgers and a Packers team that scored a league-best 509 points during the regular season.

This is the first ever playoff matchup between Brady and Rodgers as both plied their trade in separate conferences for their cumulative 37 NFL seasons until this season. Some might think this duel is too little, too late considering the two Hall of Fame locks have a combined age of 80, but both are at the top of their respective games. Rodgers led the league in touchdown passes (48) and passer rating (121.5) this season, while Brady’s passing yards (4,633) and touchdown (40) totals were in the top three. As far as quarterback matchups go, it doesn’t get much better.

During the regular season, the Buccaneers dismantled the Packers to the tune of a 38-10 blowout, by far the worst loss Green Bay suffered all season. History could repeat itself, but it’s tough to bet against the Packers offense and the Bucs just proved that regular season results aren’t the be-all and end-all by sending home a Saints team that beat them in two prior meetings this season.
AFC Championship

Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs [Jan 24, 6:30 p.m. ET]

Channel: CBS

Watch Live Stream Online

Expect constant updates on Patrick Mahomes and his recovery from a concussion he suffered against the Cleveland Browns. The health of the Chiefs’ franchise player will be crucial to how this game plays out. If he’s unavailable, it will be borderline-impossible for backup Chad Henne to lead the defending champs past a Bills team that’s dropped just one game since a two-game skid in mid-October.

Assuming Mahomes is good to go, we could be looking at a classic. Both teams run intricate modern offenses that emphasize early down passing and are driven by extremely talented mobile quarterbacks with improvisational flair. Each defense will be stretched to its limit. It’s not hard to imagine a Mahomes–Josh Allen duel coming down to the final possession, with the last team to possess the ball in the driver’s seat.

When these teams met on October 19, the Chiefs won 26-17 behind an efficient performance from a massive 162-yard rushing day from Clyde Edwards-Helaire and an outstanding defensive effort that led to Allen passing for just 122 yards. That’s a recipe for success that Kansas City will be unlikely to replicate considering Edwards-Helaire is hobbled and Allen is too good to be bottled up that thoroughly twice. That means the Chiefs will have to go with their usual strategy of lighting up the scoreboard with an explosive passing attack — as long as Mahomes is OK.
Who’s going to win Super Bowl LV

With the Mahomes health caveat, the Chiefs should remain favorites to retain their title. Andy Reid’s offense is well-crafted and the club’s skill position players have incredible speed, making them a nightmare to defend. On defense they create turnovers and get after the quarterback at a respectable clip, making life difficult for opposing passing attacks. They are far from perfect, but they are well-coached, talented, and consistent.

The Bills might be the second-best team in the field thanks to the rapid improvement Allen has displayed as a dual-threat quarterback and red-zone virtuoso. Buffalo is probably a little more talented than Kansas City on the defensive side of the ball—particularly in the secondary—but the club also relies on putting up massive point totals and defending leads. That’s been a winning formula for them. If it weren’t for a miraculous Kyler Murray Hail Mary, they’d be riding a 12-game winning streak into this game.

While the NFC isn’t as strong as the AFC, the Packers are no joke. No team has gotten better quarterback play this season, and they run the ball effectively enough that their play action passes are extremely effective. The Packers are adept at playing bully ball against less physical defenses, too. Green Bay’s defense isn’t anything to write home about, but the same can be said about the Bills and Chiefs as well. This is an offense-first remaining field, and the Packers can score with the best of them.

Rounding out the final four as the biggest underdog are the Buccaneers. Although Tampa Bay was inconsistent during the season, they’ve won five straight games (including two playoff victories) and put up at least 30 points each time out. Their defense is the strongest of the remaining four teams, which could tip the scales at a critical moment, and Brady’s playoff record speaks for itself. This team is on a quest to be the first to play the Super Bowl in their home stadium and it wouldn’t be a shock to see that happen.

ESPN holds exclusive broadcasting rights to UFC pay-per-view events, which can be watched live only via ESPN+. This premium streaming platform is home to a myriad of sports content including all things UFC, and at just $6 per month or a cheaper $60 per year, it’s a must-have for fight fans. UFC PPV events normally cost $70, but in the run-up to these big fights, new subscribers can grab a year’s worth of ESPN+ along with the PPV for just $90 — a cool $40 savings off of their combined price. If you already have ESPN+, however, you’ll have to pony up the regular $70 ticket price if you want to watch UFC 259: Blachowicz vs. Adesanya live on Saturday.

How to watch UFC 259: Blachowicz vs. Adesanya live

UFC 259: Blachowicz vs. Adesanya is the third pay-per-view event of 2021 and it’s a big one. The headliner is a light heavyweight title bout between current champion Jan Blachowicz (27-8) and undefeated middleweight champion Israel Adesanya (20-0), who is moving up in weight class to challenge Blachowicz for the belt. If Adesanya clinches the victory here, he’ll hold belts in two divisions simultaneously. He’ll find a tough opponent in seasoned veteran Blachowicz, who, despite not boasting the same undefeated record as Adesanya, is entering this fight following a string of wins, the most recent victory being his title win at UFC 253 last September.

Also on the main card is a contest for the UFC Women’s Featherweight Championship. Amanda Nunes (20-4), who currently holds both the featherweight and bantamweight titles — one of few fighters to ever hold two belts simultaneously, and the first woman to do so — will be defending her belt against former Invicta FC featherweight champion Megan Anderson (11-4). The third title bout on the main card will see defending bantamweight champion Petr Yan (15-1) go toe-to-toe with number one-ranked UFC bantamweight fighter Aljamain Sterling (19-3).

There are 15 fights scheduled across the main, preliminary, and early preliminary fight cards, and if you want to catch all the action live, then now’s the time to sign up for ESPN+ so you can watch UFC 259: Blachowicz vs. Adesanya online live on Saturday. If you’re a new subscriber, be sure to take advantage of the bundle offer that lets you score a year’s worth of ESPN+ along with the UFC 259 pay-per-view bundle for just $90 (a $40 discount).

UFC 259 Fight Card: Who’s Entering the Octagon

With 30 combatants entering the Octagon and three championship bouts on the main card, UFC 259: Adesanya vs. Blachowicz is an event you don’t want to miss. This pay-per-view, which airs Saturday starting at 6 PM ET, will be broadcast exclusively via ESPN+ (and you still have time to sign up and grab the PPV bundle if you haven’t already). The UFC 259 fight card features a star-studded roster of some of the top talents in the world of MMA. Read on to find out more about the champions, their challengers, and other top-ranked fighters who will be doing their ring walks at UFC 259.

How to Watch on ESPN+

There are three fight cards scheduled for UFC 259, the main event being a contest for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. Current champ Jan Blachowicz (27-8), who won the belt last September at UFC 253, will be defending his title for the first time against reigning middleweight champion Israel “The Last Stylebender” Adesanya. Adesanya boasts an undefeated record of 20-0 and has moved up a weight class for this fight to challenge Blachowicz for the light heavyweight championship. If the Stylebender wins, he’ll be one of few fighters to have held titles in two divisions simultaneously.

UFC 259: Blachowicz vs. Adesanya is coming tonight, bringing with it three explosive championship bouts. The main card portion of the event is a pay-per-view, and with 15 fights in total scheduled across three cards, now’s the time to sign up for ESPN+ so you don’t miss any of the action. Whether you’re streaming on your smart TV, mobile device, gaming console, or even just your computer’s browser, here’s what you need to know about what channel the UFC is on tonight.

Watch Now

ESPN+ is the go-to place for UFC live streaming, and as the exclusive outlet for pay-per-view events like UFC 259, it’s a must-have for anybody who can’t get enough mixed martial arts action. Because ESPN holds exclusive broadcasting rights to UFC PPV fights, however, you won’t find UFC 259: Blachowicz vs. Adesanya, UFC 260: Miocic vs. Ngannou, and other such events on regular TV channels — or even on TV streaming platforms like Hulu or Fubo.

Thankfully, ESPN+ is quite cheap at $6 per month or $60 annually, and if you’re a new member, you can get a year’s worth of ESPN+ and the UFC 259 PPV package for $90 ($40 off). More good news is that ESPN+ works on pretty much any modern streaming platform, from smart TVs and streaming sticks to mobile devices and Xbox and PlayStation gaming consoles. Note that the entire UFC 259 live stream will be available on ESPN+, but only the main card — the pay-per-view portion of the event — is exclusive to this service.

The UFC 259 fight card is a pretty hot one with 15 fights in total and three high-stakes championship title contests slated for the main card. The main event will see light heavyweight champ Jan Blachowicz defend his belt against undefeated middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, who is moving up in weight class for this fight to challenge for a second title. If Adesanya clinches the victory here, he’ll be one of only a handful of combatants to hold belts in two divisions.

One of those two-division champions, Amanda Nunes, is also fighting at UFC 259. She’ll be defending her women’s featherweight belt against Megan Anderson as the co-main event. The third and final title bout on the main card has reigning champ Petr Yan going up against rising star Aljamain Sterling. This will be the first title defense for both Blachowicz and Yan, who won their titles in 2020. Nunes — widely considered to be the best female mixed martial artist in MMA history — has successfully defended her belts six times so far.

If you want ESPN+, then another great option is The Disney Bundle which gets you basic ad-supported Hulu (note that this is different than the full Hulu Live package), Disney+, and ESPN+ for just $13 per month.
