Nikhil Dwivedi Comes Out in Support of Rhea Chakraborty, Says ‘When All This Is Over, We Would Like to Work With U’

Actor-producer Nikhil Dwivedi believes a person is innocent until proven guilty. Hence, he has offered to work with actress Rhea Chakraborty, who has been arrested by the Narcotics Central Bureau. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday arrested Rhea, but later declined to take her into custody and instead sought 14-day judicial custody, which was granted. The actress has been arrested as part of the investigations into her late boyfriend, actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. SSR Case: Rhea Chakraborty and Brother Showik’s Bail Plea to Be Heard Tomorrow

Following the arrest, Nikhil, who has co-produced films like “Veere Di Wedding” and “Dabangg 3”, tweeted: “#Rhea I didn’t kno u. I dn’t kno wht kind of person u r. May b u r as bad as u r being made out to b. May b u r not. Wht I do kno is tht how its all played out for u is unfair, unlawful ¬ how civilised countries behave. Whn all ths is over we wud like to work wth u @Tweet2Rhea.” Shweta Singh Kirti Tweets ‘Dead Can’t Speak So Blame It on the Dead’ After Rhea Chakraborty’s Lawyer Makes ‘Drug Addict’ Remark at SSR

One netizen pointed out: “She has been arrested by narcotics department for peddling . Kindly don’t make a hero out of her and our next generation. I thought you are one sane voice from Bollywood. Thanks for dropping the mask so soon.” Nikhil replied saying: “Have the courts convicted her? In case they do, we shall wait for her to do time and reform. In case she doesnt reform then I shall take my words back. But the media & public needs to stop passing judgment. My support is for #Innocentuntilprovenguilty & not for #RheaChakraborty.”

He was trolled by many people after which Nikhil tweeted on Wednesday: “To those who think I am supporting a drug user or drug peddler &trolling me. I wud like to say I DON’T CARE! I m NOT supporting #Rhea but standing up to our tendency to pronounce judgments before law has. I was as disturbed when men were ousted of their jobs on #Metoo allegations.” He has also commented on #DeathOfDemocracy posted by actress Kangana Ranaut, whose Bandra office is being demolished by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Both claim high moral ground but either don’t speak whn wrong is commited on another. We shud ve spoken whn #AamirKhan was being unduly targeted. As we shud speak now in ths particular case of urs!! Sadly we r as divided on either side as the entire nation is.”

Mika Singh: Get Off Social Media and Help People Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic

Mika Singh feels people ought to stop indulging in Twitter sermonising and do some actual work if they want to pitch in with help amidst the Covid pandemic. The singer has initiated a food service (Langar Seva) under his NGO, and had kickstarted his efforts on Monday offering free meals to bus drivers, street kids, poor and the needy. “When the Farmers’ Protest took place and the farmers help, people indulged in Twitter-baazi, they kept tweeting that we will do this and we will do that, but nothing came out of it. There is no need to show support on Twitter, step outside and help, do the actual bit. Shares Few Tips To Tackle Post- Weakness (Watch Video).

“Whenever there is an issue, people just hop onto Twitter and start writing. It’s my humble request to people, do actual help and stop making bayaan baazi (sermonising) on Twitter,” said Mika. Mika has been an avid supporter of the farmers’ protest and still supports the cause, but believes that Covid is a bigger issue and everyone should start doing their bit. Kumar Gives a Shout Out to His African Fan Club For Donating Food Items to the Disabled.

He said: “I am certain that the will take a decision. There is no one bigger than government and this matter (the farmers’ protest) should be resolved quickly. But right now, people are dying of hunger rather than coronavirus. We should also worry about people who are still alive and on road. People on road need food, the unemployed need food, people don’t have drinking , clothes to wear and place to sleep, and it’s time we take living into consideration as well.”

Asked whether the entertainment industry was facing a backlash for not doing enough for people and just making tall claims on social media platforms, Mika replied: “I love Bollywood and I respect it. See, there are people who are actually doing good work and helping others, but there is huge of people who just want to wear expensive shoes and watches. To that I say, if god has blessed you with good fortune, please help someone in need as well.”
