
In the fourth T20 match played against England, Suryakumar Yadav batted brilliantly and played a blistering innings of 57 runs in just 31 balls. Suryakumar surprised Jofra Archer with a long six on the first ball of his international career. Suryakumar became the third batsman to hit a six off the first ball of his T20 career. Talking to Shardul Thakur on BCCI TV, Suryakumar took this shot saying that he had played against Jofra Archer before and he knew that Archer would try to put him on the backfoot on the first ball.
Suryakumar Yadav said that he had seen Archer bowling before and he always tried to keep the batsman on the backfoot on the first ball. He said that he has been playing against Archer in the IPL for the last two to three years and knew about his bowling, which is why he did not have much trouble in making this shot. The Mumbai batsman said that he was a little nervous at the start of batting, but he knew that if he plays the first few balls well, everything will become normal. Suryakumar was adjudged Man of the Match for his brilliant innings.

With the victory in the fourth T20 match, Team India has reduced the five-match series to 2-2. For Team India, Suryakumar Yadav played a brilliant innings of 57 runs in his debut inning, while Shreyas Iyer batted hard and scored 37 runs. Chasing a target of 186 runs, England could only score 177 runs at the loss of 8 wickets. In bowling, Shardul Thakur took three wickets for India. The fifth and final match of the series will be played on this ground on 20 March.
