When Mumbai first eased its lockdown rules, Saif along with Kareena and Taimur made it to Marine Drive for some breather. It’s no point coming down harsh on them for this because many Mumbaikars did the same.

Kareena’s Instagram account is quite a treat. She keeps her posts short and sweet. It’s often about how she is a pro at posing in a kaftan or about Taimur having a ball drawing on the wall or just them doing crazy stuff. She has started working out at home and her pictures are inspiring us to do some crunches too. One day we will certainly be able to do that.

TV Actress Rape Case: 'Ayush Tewari Has Nothing To Do With Bellbottom', Says Film's Casting Director Vaibhav Vishant

A TV actress has accused a certain casting director named Ayush Tewari of raping her for two years under the pretence of marriage. She told the Versova police that after two years of harassment, which was sexual and physical in nature, she parted ways with the man. But, Tewari continued to send her unsolicited sexual messages. She also informed her brother about her ordeal and he also had a word with Tewari, but the situation did not improve. A police official said on Monday that the FIR was registered last week after the actress submitted an application. Now, certain media reports claimed that the accused worked on the film, Bellbottom which features Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi in lead roles. Television Actress Accuses Casting Director of Rape, Further Investigation is Underway.

However, casting director for Bellbottom, Vaibhav Vishant has categorically denied Ayush’s involvement with any aspect of the film. Vishant did agree that Tewari was an intern at his company but said he has no role to play in the casting of Bellbottom. Vaibhav Vishant said, “It is distressing to see the film and the names of others associated with the film being tarnished with false and unverified allegations,”

He added, “I am the casting director of Bellbottom. The individual Ayush Tewari was a freelancer intern in my company and has nothing to do with the film or its casting. He has not worked on Bellbottom in any capacity. It is extremely upsetting to see that some publications in order to get a clickbait headline will go to any lengths to put out uncorroborated and unsubstantiated information. This individual Ayush Tewari has nothing to do with Bellbottom. I hope the police will conduct a fair investigation and justice will be served. However, I will request media publications to correct the facts and stop linking Bellbottom to this case.”

After Weekend, Halsey Also Slams Grammys for Corruption, Says ’Hoping for More Transparency ‘

After being snubbed at the Grammy nominations this year, American singer-songwriter Halsey has called out the nomination process, criticising it for being about more than just releasing quality music or cultural impact. BTS At Grammys 2020: From Boy With Luv to Mic Drop, 5 Songs That the K-Pop Hotties Should Perform at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards!

“I’ve been thinking and wanted to choose my words carefully because a lot of people have extended sympathy and apology to me since the Grammy nominations. The Grammys are an elusive process,” she wrote on Instagram Stories.

“It can often be about behind the scenes private performances, knowing the right people, campaigning through the grapevine, with the right handshakes and ‘bribes’ that can be just ambiguous enough to pass as ‘not bribes’. And if you get that far, it’s about committing to exclusive TV performances and making sure you help the Academy make their millions in advertising on the night of the show,” she added.

The singer continued: “Perhaps sometimes it is (!!!) but it’s not always about the music or quality or culture. Just wanted to get that off my chest. @theweeknd deserves better, and Manic did too (woman shrugging emoji) perhaps it’s unbecoming of me to say so but I can’t care anymore. While I am THRILLED for my talented friends who were recognised this year, I am hoping for more transparency or reform. But I’m sure this post will blacklist me anyway.”

Halsey has not received a single nomination for her 2020 album Manic, which included the chart-topping single Without meGRAMMYs 2021 Nominations: The Weeknd Slams Recording Academy After His Snub, Says ‘The Grammys Remain Corrupt’

In a social media post last week, The Weeknd also accused the Recording Academy of being “still corrupt”. His reaction got a response from interim Grammy chief Harvey Mason jr., who insisted that the process is legitimate.

“All the records get the fairest of fair shakes,” he said to variety.com, adding: “We listen to all the music — it’s a long, arduous process and people take pride in it. The people in that room care: there’s no agendas in there, there’s no ‘let’s snub this person’ or that person. It’s about, ‘Let’s try and find excellence’.”

The 2021 Grammy Awards nominations were announced on November 24, with Beyonce leading the way with nine nods, followed by Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and Roddy Ricch with six apiece.
