Jio, Qualcomm Snapdragon to Bring CODM Aces Esports Challenge on JioGames Platform

Mumbai, April 5: India’s largest and fastest-growing digital company Jio and Qualcomm CDMA Technologies Asia Pacific (QCTAP) on Monday announced the beginning of a year-long collaboration on JioGames called Esports .

The collaboration between the two is set to bring superior gaming experiences to gaming enthusiasts across India through multiple contests that will be organised by JioGames on the JioGames Esports platform with QCTAP as a title sponsor.

With a shared of empowering gamers, Qualcomm Snapdragon and JioGames to create a platform that will not only drive gaming-oriented content but will provide a training ground for gamers to hone their skills for more professional level opportunities.

“Mobile gaming is one of the fastest growing segments in India. Almost 90 per cent of gamers in India are using their mobile as their primary device for gaming. Apart from superior graphics capabilities, today’s gamers also want fast, seamless connectivity and long-lasting battery life,” said Rajen Vagadia, Vice President and President of Qualcomm India Pvt Ltd.

Oppo A54 Smartphone With Triple Rear Cameras Launched in India at Rs 13,490

Oppo, the Chinese smartphone maker, officially launched the Oppo A54 smartphone in India. The handset will be made available for sale from tomorrow at 12 noon via Flipkart. Sale offers include up to Rs 1,000 off on HDFC Bank cards and credit card EMI, no-cost EMI, standard EMI options, 5 percent unlimited cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank and up to Rs 12,650 off via exchange deals. Oppo A54 is priced at Rs 13,490 for the 4GB + 64GB model whereas the 4GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 14,490. It features a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels. The handset comes powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. For optics, the phone sports a triple rear camera module with a 13MP main lens, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP bokeh lens. At the front, there is a 16MP selfie snapper.

Nokia Signs Agreement With LG Uplus To Tap South Korea’s 5G Equipment Market: Report

Seoul, April 19: Nokia, a Finnish telecom equipment giant, said on Monday it has signed an agreement with South mobile carrier LG Uplus to install its next-generation indoor 5G equipment in the country. Nokia said it will deploy its small cell AirScale Indoor systems in indoor locations across the country, including shopping malls and office buildings, for LG Uplus’ 5G Nokia G10, Nokia G20, Nokia C10, , Nokia X10 & Nokia X20 Phones Launched.

The system allows seamless 5G connectivity between indoor and outdoor locations and can be easily upgraded to accommodate future network expansion, according to Nokia. South Korean telecom operators have recently focused on expanding 5G coverage in indoor locations amid complaints of lack of network availability, reports Yonhap news agency.

A government report late last year found that 5G was available in 61.8 percent of the total 4,516 major public buildings across the country’s 85 cities. LG Uplus uses 5G equipment from Nokia, Samsung Electronics Co., China’s Huawei Technologies Co. and Sweden’s Ericsson.

It is important to note that no link can change WhatsApp’s logo or theme to Pink by just clicking on it. If there would be a change in the logo or theme, then the Facebook-owned company will officially announce the same. This malware link has been reportedly introduced to trick WhatsApp users and steal access to their accounts. Cybersecurity members have also reportedly suggested that clicking on any suspicious WhatsApp Pink installation link received on WhatsApp will hack users’ phone and hackers can get access to their WhatsApp accounts.

Cybersecurity expert ‘Rajshekhar Rajaharia’ also made users aware of this malware link by sharing it on social media. Here’s how you can stay safe from this WhatsApp’s Pink installation link malware.

1. Identify the link, check the keywords, spelling errors and grammatical mistakes in the URL.

2. Avoid clicking on links that promise gifts and unofficial changes to the app.
